Compared to regular powder makeup brushes, a kabuki brush has smaller, denser bristles that are tightly bound together making it perfect for applying all kinds of foundation, blusher or powder and ideal for contouring. The beautiful hand-made Kabuki Brush from Swedish brushmaker Iris Hantverk is crafted from oiled birch wood with bristles of soft goat hair and is a great sustainable beauty product.
To clean the brush, pour a little water and shampoo into the palm of your hand and carefully circulate the brush. When you are finished with the shampoo, gradually add more water and continue to circulate until the brush comes clean. Gently squeeze with a towel and allow it to dry lying down.
